I don't know either of those hotels but would just give you a couple of points to consider. If you don't want to travel too far from the airport (Monastir?) you need to look at Skanes, Sousse or Port El Kantaoui (40 mins to PEK and the others are even nearer). Skanes is really nothing except hotels, though many of them are very nice if you just want to stay round the hotel. PEK is more modern and 'purpose built' for tourists, so it might be a gentler introduction to the country than Sousse, which is more 'Tunisian' if you know what I mean. Talking of distances, if you have to pay £15 each for the transfer you will find it quicker and cheaper to get a taxi outside the airport - no more than about 20 dinar (eight pounds sterling) to PEK if you haggle.

Are the prices you quote per person, or for the two of you? If the former, they seem quite expensive and I'm sure you can do better. As there are only two of you, do you really want all inclusive? Eating out is very cheap and going half board leaves you free to explore other places.

I hope you have a lovely holiday - I'm sure someone on here can help with any questions you have.

well the transfers on most places ive seen are £15 pp which is £30 in all, so more then likely i will get my own taxi outside the airport. We are both not to fussed about going out into towns etc but we possibly will, ide also myself like to go on a few excursions but not the 2 day desert trip lol, is there any others if so what? i heard there were things such as catamaran trips, sand buggys and so on......

the reason for all inclusive is basically because its not much cheaper going Self catering or HB, plus drinks and so on will be free, whats the beer like lol

also will it be hot around 5th March?

hi, yes that was one of the other hotels we were considering, the sahara beach one was one which we were more likely to try and book, with it being out of season does that mean staffing changes and things dont get done etc and it aint as busy?

I went last year on March 8th and the weather was ok, quite windy and overcast for about a week of the fournight and the other week was glorious!

bear in mind that there's not much night life in Tunisia for a young couple, and a decent pint or glass of wine is hard to come by......
