Were stopping at the planet hollywood resort in las vegas

Thank you!! im so excited, i thought the location looked good & from things i had read, although lets face it theres good & bad reviews everywhere you go, lol. are you going away this year?

If You Going To San Francisco,Vegas and LA....if you looking to do any shopping i would go to the factory outlet mall in las vegas..there's a factory outlet outside by the stratosphere hotel we perfer the one inside about 2 miles past the luxor hotel..that one is nearer you....shame the exchange rate is so low...not so many bargains around.you can go on the Deuce Blue bus from your hotel right outside the mall $7 for a Day ticket if you not driving..if you are driving the famous Las Vegas sign is that way....Can stop and have you photo taken in front of it.....

Not sure what other plans you have for Vegas.....Decent Shows etc,grand canyon,Hoover Dam,or just browsing the other hotels

Not Going away this Year..was going back to Florida,but got a close relation really ill....family more important this year..

PS...You May Find things expensive in San Francisco its one of the most expensive cities in the USA but prices for food etc,will be lower has you go along,last time in san Francisco will found things more expensive than times we had been before.

sorry to hear of your relative. we were also going to go back to florida but couldnt get the flights for the dates we have to go. way too expensive!! still im looking forward to this as its something different!! were not doing san fransisco just los angeles & las vegas. might do a helicopter tour to the grand canyon while in vegas, also thinking were just going to be browsing around & see whats to do & on offer when were there, wouldnt mind to see a show or 2, can you walk to the famous sign? is it by any of the hotels? also can you buy a bus pass for a few days or anything?

The Deuce Bus is $7 for 24hrs.......it goes from Freemont St all the way to the factory outlet mall...stopping all the way along the Strip so if you get the ticket at 11am it lasts to 11am the next day.During the day we found buses on time and easy to get on....but come darkness they get very full and you cant always get on...we like it down freemont st..but it isnt everybody's cup of tea down there.When you are on the Strip Distance's are very hard to judge and if's it Hot it can be hard work and tiring walking on the Strip,From where you are...the vegas sign i wouldnt say you can walk there if's it warm when you Go.its 1/2 a mile from the manadley bay hotel....and your hotel i would say just over same distance...if you do walk it from where you are...on the sign you see it will say Drive Carefully....Welcome to las vegas is on the other side.

Thanks, know what you mean about walking in the heat, we walked back from universal studios last year in orlando, it was in the aftrenoon sometime & a couple we walked with had said it was about 97 degrees. not sure how far it is in walking distance but it was really hot!! lol
