Its our first trip to Portugal on Bank Holiday Monday - I've booked a hotel in Capricia ( not far from Lisbon) , hired a car and bought a flexi map!

So can anybody tell me what the 'Must do's' are in that part of Portugal.

I think a day ( at least walking Lisbon ) shopping is a neccessity. HUsband yet to agree!

The flights are courtesy of Easy Jet ( Litterally won them at the Holiday Show), hotel booked through Sol Melia site ( collecting points)

Tips and hints would be most welcome

Craine, you might be as well going onto the tripadvisor website.
There is allsorts there, including a forum for Lisbon where I am sure you could ask some questions
and pick up some tips.

Hi Sagers ! Just wanted to say thanks for recommending the Marina Rio ! We had a fab week and fell in love with Lagos ! We're hoping to return there , and in fact I'm thinking of going back in October wth my husband for 2 weeks if the weather can be relied on ! Thanks again for a great recommendation !
