When will be the best time to book flights to Toronto for next August ?
I have had quotes of around £1680 from Glasgow for 4 adults.
Some one mentioned that early in the new year I might get a better deal.
Can anyone offer an opinion.

Always a difficult one..when considering booking so far in advance. Am sure that some of our "charter" experts on this forum will find advise but it sounds to me like a fairly reasonable price for August 08.
Compare initially with Air Transat, Thomas Cook and even BA via London, KLM via Amsterdam, US Airways and Continental - all with a change en route state side. Flyglobespan ....maybe?

                blackcat1,
You have plenty of options depending on how you want to route. Zoom maybe your best bet. As for timing, they are going to be expensive this far in advance, ie full price. Just keep checking 2 or 3 times a month until you see a price that you think is a good deal and book it. Then don't look!! Normally, 3 months prior to departure seems to be the best time but there are risks involved, ie it very much depends on demand and how full the flight are. If they are getting full, the prices won't drop whereas if bookings are quiet, the prices will drop. Just keep looking is the key.
