Has anyone stayed here recently ie: 05/06 ?

I've read the reviews and found an old topic but this was from 2004.

I'm thinking of booking here for April in a one bedroom apartment as oppose to a studio (which sound tiny) Have read all the reviews on here and elsewhere.

I know the complex is split across the road from one another but can anyone advise which area or apt no. we should be requesting so that we face the pool and gets the sun most of the day ? I'm a little confused as to whether there's a mix of both 1 bed and studios in both complexes ? Many past guests mention there is an adult only pool at one complex so I'm worried this is the one with only studios arounf it ?

Any help appreciated

Has anyone been to Flora Apts PDC this summer?

Went to Flora for 2 weeks Jul/Aug and had a brilliant time. What I would like to know is if anyone can help on a song Iscka and Andrea played frequently. If you stayed at Flora you would know it. Think it was called The Guitar Song and sort of went "Everybody get up, up I feel like dancing, Everybody say hey, hey I feel like dancing etc etc" Iscka gave us a play list of the popular songs they played but we cant seem to find this song on the net anywhere. I know its a long shot but if anyone can help, 5 kids would be very grateful.

flora thb peurta del carmen

hi there can anyone tell me how far from the airport are these apartments and how much would a taxi cost please also how far are they from the harbour and how far from the beach are they in walking distance also is it worth hiring the tv there thanks alot

Hi Madge

We've stayed at the Flora a few time so hope I can help with your queries,
It's not far from the airport about 20mins in a taxi which will cost approx 15Euros each way. You are at the top of a fairly steep hill and a walk down to the harbour or old town is only about 5mins depending on how quick you walk.
You can walk to the main beach which should take approx half an hour but it's too far for me! Taxi's are fairly cheap though.
The telly isn't worth hiring imo.
Anything else you need to know just ask.

thanks alot caz that has really helped we are booked in for all inclusive but i have read some good some bad reviews about the food were not bothered about this as we got it at a good price i was just wandering as we are all inclusive would we still get a fridge in our 1 bed apartment.you may not know this because you may stay there self catering thanks again :tup

The apartments are standard so you should get a fridge. :tup

Hi, Just noticed your post Madge.
I think you mean the Don Paco Castilla apartments which are situated the other side of the resort from where you are staying so it would be too far away to use in any case. ;-)

I wouldn't think you would be able to use the AI facility .
