Came back from Lanzarote last week and would like some advice if possible. When we arrived back in Glasgow both our case and pram had been damaged whilst checked in. The bugs back no longer holds up so its not possible to sit our son upright properly in the pram. Our case has a large hole in the corner as if its hit something. We filled out a form at the airport and have now recived a letter from Flyglobespan to say they are not liable and we need to conact our travel insurance. I have checked our insurance and they do not cover us for damage whilst the luggage is checked in. Is this right my understanding is when you check something in it becomes the responsibilty of the airline to get it back to you in one peace?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Paul
