its not the food laws as such its the cost of transport, firstly it would have to go as hold baggage [see the luggage thread in airlines/airports forum]
secondly you can buy GOOD FRESH local brands at a fraction of the cost, or british brands if you hunt round, you will also find walls sausages and bacon,

As Wizard said, check the Hand Luggage sticky topic at the top of the Flights forum.

You are only allowed one piece of hand luggage which must comply with the weights and dimensions stipulated by the airline/airport.

Carmen, unless you are in a small village in the middle of nowhere, you can buy anything in Spain, it's not a third world country. Don't you think it would be nice to actually experience their food, it's really quite good and very tasty! If you really have to, you can buy british food, but all the supermarkets sell almost the same as you get at home - be a bit adventurous :wink:
