We need to furnish a villa in Vilamoura - Can anyone help with where to go for the following furnishings:
1. Crockery and saucepans. kitchen utensils etc
2. Sheets, towels and blankets
3. Curtain material and curtain track
4. Lighting
5. Garden tables and chairs (teak?) and white plasticy sunloungers etc.
Everyone seems to be buying in Tenerife or Turkey but hopefully there is someone out there who can help!
Have you got a hypermarket such as Carrefours or Hipersol or something similar?
When I furnished my villa last year on the Costa de la Luz I bought nearly all of the kitchen stuff from there, they were very reasonable price wise, and had a good selection. It's all under one roof too which is important if you are short on time.
Wherever you go, enjoy it, this is the nice part!
