The Sunny Beach website mentions Karting/Carting as one of the resort's attractions and it was certainly active around the middle of last August, from holidaymakers' reports elsewhere (the cost was said to be 10 Leva for 22 laps) - the location was, as you found, near Golden Dreams according to those reports.

It's possible that the karting shuts down at a similar time to the Aquapark, which last year closed on 10th September, according to the website.

Hi guys, couldnt be certain but i know there is a new apartment complex being built behind the Golden Dreams, from what ive seen it looks as though it may well be on the land where the karting was, Paul.

Dont knw if you are talking about the same kart track but last year there was a kart track opening on the back road along from the aqua park heading towards pomorie direction,

Yes I think that is the same one Mondeo that is near Golden Dreams. I didnt go to Sunny Beach until late September and Baldur may be right saying it could have closed early but also as also said it could be being built on. Have to see, thanks Stuart

If my memory of the resort is not playing tricks I think that Golden Dreams apartments are across the main road from chochura restaurant on the site of what was one of the first supermarkets in the resort way back in the early 90s , if so then the karting I am refering to is different from the one you mean, where I am talking about is if you carry on down that road you come to the main road between bourgas and varna they were building two or three new petrol stations there, and there was also a go cart track because when we were there last season there were two karting tracks in sunny beach

We stayed in the Golden Dreams last August for 2 weeks and used the go-karts several times. They were right behind the apartments next to a building site. Considering the amount of building work going on, all over Sunny Beach, I wouldn't be at all surprised if the land used by the go-karts is built on soon.

Yvonne, you may be right. When I went it looked like a tip and was closed with lots of poor folk milling around made me feel uneasy, but I shouldnt have worried. We will see this year. Stuart
