Hello,
I am going to Goa with a friend and her nan was born in Cochin (where her grandad met her during the war) and she would like to visit for the day. We are on a budget and are only in Goa for 13 days so looking for the quickest / cheapest option, if it is at all possible.
All advice / info appreciated.

As Cochin is around 400 miles from Goa I don't think it would be possible as a day trip.

i didnt think it was that far, will have to change my plan now, i was thinking of going down for a couple of days, maybe i will just look at goingto the south instead..
We were going to do Mumbai when we go on the 6th Dec but are looking for alternatives. Out of interest is there a cheapish way to get to Cochin?
walking.... seriously im not sure think i will look into it, maybe your taxi driver could take you...
Don't think the old flip flops would like it much. Looks like we are going to settle for a few days down South
