You could do an awful lot worse than the Sirenis Seaview Country Club in Port D'es Torrent, it can be found on http://www.directholidays.co.uk

Nice price too, we stayed there for a week in 2006 and we're going back for 2 weeks next year.

Port D'es Torrent is just along the coast to the west of San Antonio Bay.

A guy at work went to that hotel and said it was brilliant, especially for kids with loads to do.

We love the Fiesta Bahamas in Playa Den Bossa, been twice with 2 teenagers and loved it.
They have a great childrens Fiesta entertainer, she's fantastic with the kids and does the mini disco every night plus lots of daytime stuff too.
It can be booked through Thomson or Portland (same company but different child ages!!)
With Thomson the child age is up to and inc 15 yrs

mar amantis in the bay has good kids stuff on, the entertainers are there all day doing things with the children and theres the crazy kids disco and games on for them every night. for the older ones theres 4 pools and sports on. when i went it was mainly families with a few little groups of lads and lasses, but i dont know if that would be the same next year, but its just an idea

i know most hotels do a mini disco.ie old party tunes.but really ibiza could do with a chain of bars that just caters for familys with small ones.half an hour disco wow.then they have to be quite for the rest of the night in hotels.a bar would be nice with loads to do for all ages.but really geared up for little ones.ie babys to say 10 years old.plus a bar for the teens.just to chill out in play games/disco/ect.all run with crb check people and doorstaff.so its run safe.

Fiesta do put on a good programme for kids

When we were in San An Bay we commented on how every bar and hotel on the strip was geared towards families with stuff for the kids to do, and we didn't have kids with us.

You mention the don carlos. We stayed there last year in July with my kids who are 14, 8 and 6 and they loved it with a good mini disco from about 7pm to 8pm, then about 30 minutes of kids games before the cheesy bingo and shows. The entertainers were brilliant with them. I dont even know if it is adult only hotel or whether kids are allowed anymore, its all a bit confusing so we have booked elsewhere this year. However prior to last year we were self catering a number of years at an apartment nearby and we could use the facilities at the Don Carlos and enjoy the evening entertainment as well. They were most welcoming to outside visitors, especially my children but it was in October end of season. Might be worth emailing the Fiesta hotels direct on their website and asking.

There were a few more mature child free couples there, but my kds are well behaved and some actually commented on how good they were. Definitely not grumpy!!

Hope this helps, and if you do get an answer re this ongoing kids allowed not allowed issue please let me know because Portland and TUI said it was adult only and now there are reviews slamming it because kids are allowed etc etc etc. It appears to be all over the threads of every other popular holiday review site. :wave

I've just recommended the Don Carlos on another thread for mini discos.

My Husband and I went there, as a young couple without children, in 2005 and had a fab time.

As far as I'm aware it's not adult only, it's confusing because the hotel has a gold award but it's not a Thomson Gold ie. adult only.
