Having booked my flights I'm going mad looking for a reasonable hotel with HB and crucially some sort of mini disco for our 4 year old?
Have been to Es Cana a few times and maybe thinking of looking elsewhere, like Sta Eul but not sure if any there have children's mini disco?
Trouble is it'll be peak season in August and whilst I've stayed in the Miami before, not in peak season and am afraid it'll be mad there!
Have seen recommendations for Hotel Cala Nova but people seem to under rate the evening entertainment looking at the reviews so confused about that one.
The Don Carlos in Sta Eul is mentioned as nice but the entire review chain on this site seems to be taken up with some sort of "Adults only hotel" discussion and mention of grumpy child free people moaning about kids being in the hotel!!
Es Cana is very very small at the end of the day and we have 9 nights to use. Maybe we should go 2 centre....Oh blimey why is holiday booking so stressful!
All we want is anywhere where there's a mini disco, somewhere to walk in the evenings and not surrounded by kids throwing pool balls around the games room (as happened in the Miami last time).....and I have 2 teenagers in tow as well, although if they have a pool and a bit of entertainment they're happy no matter how cheesey it is.

Nice price too, we stayed there for a week in 2006 and we're going back for 2 weeks next year.
Port D'es Torrent is just along the coast to the west of San Antonio Bay.
You could do an awful lot worse than the Sirenis Seaview Country Club in Port D'es Torrent, it can be found on Nice price too, we stayed there for a week in 2006 and we're going back for 2 weeks next year.

A guy at work went to that hotel and said it was brilliant, especially for kids with loads to do.
They have a great childrens Fiesta entertainer, she's fantastic with the kids and does the mini disco every night plus lots of daytime stuff too.
It can be booked through Thomson or Portland (same company but different child ages!!)
With Thomson the child age is up to and inc 15 yrs
mar amantis in the bay has good kids stuff on, the entertainers are there all day doing things with the children and theres the crazy kids disco and games on for them every night. for the older ones theres 4 pools and sports on. when i went it was mainly families with a few little groups of lads and lasses, but i dont know if that would be the same next year, but its just an idea
i know most hotels do a mini disco.ie old party tunes.but really ibiza could do with a chain of bars that just caters for familys with small ones.half an hour disco wow.then they have to be quite for the rest of the night in hotels.a bar would be nice with loads to do for all ages.but really geared up for little ones.ie babys to say 10 years old.plus a bar for the teens.just to chill out in play games/disco/ect.all run with crb check people and doorstaff.so its run safe.
When we were in San An Bay we commented on how every bar and hotel on the strip was geared towards families with stuff for the kids to do, and we didn't have kids with us.
There were a few more mature child free couples there, but my kds are well behaved and some actually commented on how good they were. Definitely not grumpy!!
Hope this helps, and if you do get an answer re this ongoing kids allowed not allowed issue please let me know because Portland and TUI said it was adult only and now there are reviews slamming it because kids are allowed etc etc etc. It appears to be all over the threads of every other popular holiday review site.
My Husband and I went there, as a young couple without children, in 2005 and had a fab time.
As far as I'm aware it's not adult only, it's confusing because the hotel has a gold award but it's not a Thomson Gold ie. adult only.
