Golden Resort & Family Aqua Sharm

hi, can anyone help me, i'm looking at the hotel( Golden Resort & Family Aqua Fun) in the 1st choice brouchure but cannot find any reviews what so ever on this hotel.

I no the name has changed because they are adding the water park but still cannot find it under the 1st part of the name.

Does anyone know if the aqua park will be ready for sepetember, really want to go here but want to make sure that the aqua park will be finished.

Any help on where to find the reviews and if the aqua park will be finished would be FANTASTIC

If it is not that one, is it per chance the golden resort in Sharm across the road from the SAS Radisson? We thought about that hotel but found it difficult to find reviews but there are some in the section under golden resort (radisson SAS).
Can't help with the hotel itself as we decided to stay at the LTI Grand Azure instead but we did notice the hotel as we passed it on the way. Unfortunately it was more of a "thats the SAS Raddison and so the other must be opposite, whoops missed it due to the small coach windows and large curtains!" moment.

There are 16 reviews of this hotel in the HT review section under Golden resort (Radisson SAS).My friends in laws were there last year and said it was lovely.They could also use the Radisson but not for the AI.

Hi Briar,I think the hotel is still known as the Golden resort until the aqua park is complete.I dont know whether the building of the water park will be finished in time for this summer.I have my eye on the Savita resort and the Oasis blue bay but both have had their opening date put back,Jay

I am going to the Golden Resort in Sharm on 3rd March. I double checked it with Thomas Cook, and it is the hotel attached to the Radison SAS.

If you like I can report back on the status of the water park when I come home?

Golden Resort & Family Aqua Fun

We are planning on going to the Golden Resort & Family Aqua Fun Sharm El Sheik at end of July, does anyone know if the Aqua park is finished yet? Are there any slides operable?

Just had confirmation from First Choice that the Aqua Park will not be finished by the time we go there 19 July

The kids are so disappointed, it is advertised as being completed May 07!

This hotel sounds like a new build according to Falcon:-

The hotel is set among landscaped gardens with waterfalls, rivers, bridges and a variety of tropical plants. This new high standard hotel is in a fabulous location just across the road from the golden shores of Nabq Bay and its sister hotel, Radisson SAS Resort.

Childs Family, Falcon are still saying opening planned for May 07.

I'm wondering if you would be entitled to cancel without penalty your booking if you booked on the strength of the park being open.

We too are travelling to the Golden resort on 19th July and have been informed that the waterpark will not be completed. However we have been onto First Choice and they have said that even though its says work will not be completed the water park may well be up and running. Therefore the "completed" bit may mean landscaping etc. Apparently if we call them in two weeks time when the resort is up and running they will know more.

How many are there in your party? We are 3 adults (me, hubby & my mother) and 2 children (14 & 13 - one girl and one boy) - can't wait until 19th July even if the Aqua Park isn't fully operational. Will you update us if you find out more from First Choice?

There are eight of us altogether. My hubby and I, my daughter who is 12 and my niece who is 15 and our friends and their son 15 and daughter 12. We are really looking forward to it. We are flying from exeter how about you?

Hey ho great minds think alike! It will be interesting to see what their local drinks are like. Went on a nile cruise a couple of years ago and the beer and red wine wasnt bad but the white wine was like turps! Didnt get round to trying the spirits so no doubt this time we will be trying them all!
