Hi Kate, we stated there in April 1996 so my view may be a little out of date. We had a lovely time there, the people were so friendly and could not do enough for you to ensure our stay was relaxing as possible. It was very quiet in the hotel and we got to know some of the staff quite well. There was no evening entertainment there at that time.

Food was very nice, I was three months pregant at the time and they would always check how hot I wanted the curries or if there was anything I would like if it was not on the menu.

Each day they would sort out our sunbeds before we came down and made sure you really did not have to move if you didn't want to.

There was not much to do outside the hotel of an evening either, I do remember going to the Browns Beach hotel for a drink which is just a short walk away a couple of times for a change of scenery and there was a little english pub that was packed almost every night.

We used a local taxi driver to take us on all our trips, i think we paid him about £20 for the week.

The beach was really nice, although everyday we were hassled by the beach sellers but in a nice friendly way.
