The Jolie Movenpick golf Resort seems to have the only golf course in Sharm you could maybe check out their web site to see if non guests can use the course.
My husband cant go a week without playing golf so we will be checking that out as hes desperate to get a game over there, let me know if you find out any info and ill do the same.

I've been to the hotel website and have the basic info. Just wondered if anyone had first ahnd experience. The email address for the golf club does'nt seem to be functioning as my emails have been undeliverable. We are going in June so if that's before you I will post a revue in here when I get back.

Sorry im not good at copying exact web site addresses so youll have to navigate it yourself so hear goes.
Go into http://www.goredsea.com click on (activities) then scroll down till you see (related magazine articles) click on that and you get a list of things to do, theres 2 on Golf but the one i went into was (Sharm top 10 activities) that takes you to info on the Jolie never looked for prices or anything only read that non guests can play.

ive played it , its not a long course,it plays about 6300+ ,some testing holes but nothing major.2 par 4,s which are driverable if your along hitter,
trouser shorts are permitted ,t- shirt, golf shoes are a must,
xmas time i played 20 dollars us was green fee ,dont know about club hire had my own. when you get off the plane book it up striaght away through your hotel can get busy............ recommend playing it***********

Hello I have just returned fronm Sharm and talked to a couple who played the 18 hole course at the Movenpick. They said a round cost £150 and was not worth it. Iain

Thats very pricey, i have eventually received an email today fron the movenpick hotel with an attachment which includes prices and rental info unfortunatly ive some how set up a security thing on my computer which doesnt allow me to open it
dont know how i managed that so will have to wait till my bro is home from work to talk me through being able to open it. Will let you know what they are soon as .

I managed to open the file just havent managed to copy yet but heres a run down on prices.
All these prices are in us dollars and based on 18/9 holes for non guests.
Fees 18/9 = $110/60
Rental Golf Sets = $35/20 (Go), $30/18 (Spalding), $55/30 (Callaway)
Electric Cart = $20/10
Caddies = $35/20
Not at expensive as we thought we worked it out at about £85 for 18 holes with cart and club hire so not to bad think ill let him have atleast one if hes very good 2 rounds .Also there were package deals i.e 3 rounds and 5 rounds.
If you want a price list to look at propery yourself as im no good at copying email this address exoff@golf-joliemoven.com i emailed today and got a reply within the hour.

I off to Sharm in 3 weeks first time to Egypt. Can anybody let me know where I can get a round of golf. I would like an idea of the cost and whether I can hire clubs.
