Stayed at the Golden Avenida Aparthotel (Thomsons Superfamily) in October 2003. Couldn't fault it. Great rooms, great food, friendly staff and great entertainment for our kids (age 7 & 4 then). Not sure what facilties they have that would suit your older children but then Portaventura should take care of that. Booked to stay at the El Paso in June this year so fingers crossed it's as good as it looks!!
