I don`t know how many forum users are aware of "Google Earth " but basically it consists of detailed aerial pictures of the whole world taken from satelittes, planes, blimps etc. The pictures of PDLA/Los Cristianos were, until June of this year, of poor resolution and inferior quality. They were then updated, and the pictures were cica 2005, which I know for a fact because phase 2 of La Finca (the complex where we own a property was complete and shown in great detail, also Dinastia, El Mirador the famous roundabout at LC , all the new peripheral roads above LC) Now, however, these shots have been replaced with ones from a few years ago showing La Finca as a virgin piece of ground, no Dinastia or El Mirador, no roundabout or roads above L C . Censorship by the Canarian government has been mooted, as they are sensitive to critisism of accusations of overdevelopment, but surely turning back the clock is beyond even the Canarian authorities? Can anyone shed any light on this mystery?
