It isn't just Tenerife - I looked up my house in the UK at the start of the week and it showed my car on the drive (I sold it when I moved here 4 years ago)

I think they want people to upgrade to the pay for version

no dont upgrade i did that and its still the same

I have the paid for upgrade version. The point is the pictures were upgraded to a a date circa 2005, but these have since been removed and replaced with pictures which I would guess are from about 2002. My house in England is also quite an old picture, but has never been updated, and certainly not updated and subsequently pulled for an older picture.

Have just been reading about controversy over doctored pictures of Tenerife etc. on Google here

Exactly the same with me joella,my old car at home (sold 2 and a half years ago) is still parked outside my house in the U.K.,but it always has been even after the updates were made to google earth.???

Is it as ogle earth are supposedly saying, according to the above article....that the authorities are trying to obfuscate the extent of development in The Canaries in recent years...????

My home is still on and has been updated since last August as i can now clearly see the large 3 metre satellite dish on my roof.

Maybe I should have a word with Mrs Makum as there is a strange car up my drive. Hmmm

Looks like that answers the question then...( Not that I mean makum's question to Mrs makum   )....
What the news is saying is correct, after all.
