After reading this forum in and out before we left, I totally forgot to write here when we got back. But oh well, better late then never I guess
(By the way; I added hotel review for Hotel Regina)
My girlfriend and I left for Sunny Beach, Bulgaria on August 2nd and got back home August 17th. We stayed at hotel Regina, a clean, nice hotel, perfectly located near the beach, bars, nightclubs, shops etc. (like most hotels in SB I guess
I really don't know what to tell about that hasn't been said by everyone else earlier. Other than that we had an awesome time down there.
Make sure to do a few things while you are down there:
1. Try para-sailing: Being dragged after a speedboat in a parachute (unbelivably cool!)
2. Buy contact lenses and glasses for you eyes. Compared to Norway the price was more than half the price it would've been in Norway. The quality was the best. Look for shops called "Optics" in the main street.
3. Buy designer jeans. Probably fake, I dunno, but I bought 3 pairs, all great quality, dolce & gabbana + hugo boss.
4. Get a tattoo. Check out Alex at the Hotel Regina. He took only 50 levs to re-do my girlfriends butterfly on her ancle, and only 90 levs to do a scorpion on my leg, next to my knee. Great job, really cheap and a nice guy.
Okay, can't come up with much more now. Just ask questions. By the way: Anybody else met that crazy guy at Bistro Adamo? Geeeez...
