Found this hotel on Thomas Cook website, does anyone have any idea of its location. The website says its in Candolim.
Gouveia Holiday Homes are set in a quiet area, off the main high street of Candolim. The complex comprises of three large main accommodation blocks which contain modern style rooms.
Location
1.5km to sandy beach; 750m from resort centre with restaurants, shops, bars and main nightlife.
We always stay in Candolim but don't know this hotel.

The road before Lawande supermarket opposite Cactus sheperds pie, meander down the lane over a bridge and Goveia is on the bend, sort of behind the fields of Boscio Hospital, its a good walk to the main road, see map below.

Don't think we will bother its a bit too far out, we like being in the centre of Candolim, although it does look lovely, we will just have to go with Highland Beach again.

Yes, Looks like a bit of a walk to Candolim centre.
We had a look at these when they were being built. We thought it was too far a walk from the main road to the apartments. The Highland is much nearer.
Well after alot of searching and visiting travel agents on Saturday, we have booked this hotel, as we got it for a good price £630 each for 2 weeks, we could not let it go, Highland Beach was coming out at £770 each, just a little confused as to the spelling of the hotel name as Thomas Cook have it down as Gouveia but the only website we can find for the hotel is spelt Goveia, we do hope this is the correct hotel as it does look very nice on their website.
It's definitely spelt Goveia. The link that sfelts posted is correct.
goveia holiday apartments are just passed the football ground in candolim ,across the road and down a side street.. they are set back off the main road ,we stayed there in january for 3 wks... looking at going back in november. make sure you get one of th better rooms though in the main block..really enjoyed it..lynn
Welcome to the forum lynn
Thanks Lynn, that's really helpful.
thankyou papa and maria..
We have booked a studio, do you know if this is one of the better rooms in the main block ??????
We have read somewhere that there is tea/coffee making facilities, is this standard in all the rooms or do you have to pay for it.
Will probably have more questions for you, hope you can help
Maria
