Hi, what will the weather be like and will anything be open regarding bars and restaurants or supermarkets , thinking of booking the artemis apartments for the end of October

I don't think that there'll be very much open! You may need to go somewhere more 'lively' such as Hersonissos, Heraklion or Malia.
