I have been asked to 'research' Gozo for some friends, but am concerned
regarding the negative publicity e.g. the Times Article regarding the place.
Can anyone offer some reliable/honest advice, as I don't want to be the one in the firing line if the recent reports are to be believed.
They are (Grandma,Mum and 4 yr old) intending a holiday in February
Any advice to a decidedly worried 'One-Eyed-Man-In-The-Valley-of-the-Blind' much appreciated.
We were thinking of trying 'Gozo' ourselves during the Summer Holidays -
But are now a bit put off,
Is there really a 'two-tier' Us-and-Tourist' price scheme in operation?
Much Appreciated.
Ron.
there is nothing to worry about - there is no 2 tier pricing in place. There was a thread on this -

don t be fooled! There are no worries in visiting Gozo! We have been to this beautiful island for more than 20 times in the last 12 years, and we will be back again in 2 weeks! There are no such things in general as you are saying! You may find the 'lone ranger' in any country and in any place, but don t get the impression that this is the rule of the place! Let the grandma and the grandpa have their holiday with the kid.....and then ask them for their impressions! They are going to one of the safest places on earth, beleive me!
