Hi,
I've just come back from this lovely area. I stayed in a 3 bed 2 bath villa which was just a short walking distance from the beach it had a rooftop with see views, and bars and restaurants were just around the corner. We were able to book day trips from the bars and went Benidorm it took 45 mins on the coach . We got really cheap flights and the accommodation was beautiful and really reasonably priced. We enjoyed it that much we have booked again for next year. They are offering £100 off each week until 2008! Making it £175 a week. It sleeps 8 people.
I've booked a town house in Gran Alicant (monte mar) for next year (aug) for £275 a week which is less than half what I paid this year in Portugal. I'm just waiting for the flights. Is there loads to do, whats the prices like, do you need a car?
cheers
The place is ideal for families and couples. You can book day trips out to the many theme parks and Benidorm etc at the local bars & restaurants. There is little train that runs around GA and you can hop off and on for 1 euro. It runs until late and is ideal for visiting other parts of the area and supermarkets. We didn't feel we needed a car as we were just a short walk from the beach and bars etc. The communal pool was just at the back of where we stayed.
