Hi, suggest you contact your travel agent in the morning, looks very much like a Hotel not going to be finished in time, it is all artists impressions in brochure, also the Hotel is not yet listed under Bulgarian Hotels are far as I can see. Tonyt

Hi, after I booked our holiday last July our Hotel was no longer avaliable the Yavor Apartments but I have it in writing (e-mail) from Balkans Pre Departures Supervisor that we are staying in this hotel even though Balkan no longer sell holidays to these apartments anymore.......have to say after dealing with Balkan in the past that I'm still abit worried

Cheers for the above! Does anyone know what will happen if I pay the balance i.e. will they put me in a same grade of hotel and if they do and its cost more will I have to pay the extra? I tried Balkan, but they must be closed for the bank holiday.

As your payment is due next week:

1. Don't panic.

2. Read Balkan Holidays Booking Conditions & those of your travel agent

3. Contact your Travel Agent and/or Balkan as soon as practicable (after the Bank Holiday, if necessary) and ask for clarification of your concerns before you part with any more money.

Just an update to my post.

I contacted Balken and was told there was no problems so I paid the balance and 5 days latter a letter arrives. The letter says that due to problems they could not offer me the hotel but gave me another one, checked it out and it looked like Fawelty Towers (Les Magnolias). The next option to move to a different hotel and pay any extra but after about 2 hours checking we could get no family rooms. I then took the last option of a full refund and even though they had taken the money off me in 24hrs it took them nearly 10 days to repay it. As you can tell a litlte cheesed off but have now booked up for Turkey at the same price and class of hotel but this one is A/I so not all bad.
