Your post has been added to a topic I started about Grand Resort, the sister hotel across the road, on the link that Briar gave you.

It was very windy there in March and someone said it is windy in the summer too, which could be a relief as it will make temperatures bearable.
Am staying at Grand at end of June and have stayed twice at Grand Resort so would be happy to answer any questions if I can.

Thanks for replying. We were in Sharm last year and had one or two windy days... as long as it doesnt cause a sandstorm! Also thinking about the Hotel Arena Inn in El Gouna.
