Difficult to say what hotel would be best. The Seabank in Mellieha is looking a little worn but it might have been refurbished by April 2007? It is located very near to the beach at the bottom of the hill. However most of the bars in Mellieha are located up the hill from the hotel.
The location of the Grand hotel mercure san Antonio, Qawra would possibly be better for any wedding guests as there is a Casino opposite and quite a few bars around it.

can anyone tell me where the grand hotel mercure is brochures and websites all say different have booked to go in july and will have a 15 year old in tow need to find out for entertainment for him thanx.
I think its in Saint Pauls Bay not far from Bugibba/Qawra.
thanx some brochures say it is qawra some say bugibba and some say st. pauls bay

as far as i know there are two hotels in this group, one in qawra, the san anton and the other is the mercure selman palace. hope this helps you will have to check which one your at

Grand Hotel Mercure San Antonio. This hotel sits either just inside Qawra or it is on the border with Buggiba. Both places are a few minutes walk in either direction.
Is it on the site of old Hyperion near to the Dolmen? If so it looks very nice and is in a good central position.

I don't know anything at all about 'old Hyperion near to the Dolmen' but the hotel looks to have been built at the very least six years ago. It is on Tourist Street opposite The George Pub and on the same side and a minute or two walk from Qawra Bus Station.
