Graham, I think this hotel was formerly the Mares, and if so we went late march a few years years ago and it does have an acclimatized pool outdoor which was warm enough to use! and they were just constructing the waterslides pool!
There was jus about 36 brits in the hotel and no other guests apart from turkish people at a couple of big conventions! The hotel is in a lovely spot but we came back around the 12th april and not much opened in Icemeler but marmaris had some shops bars open etc ( would not go to Marmaris in season ) Icemeler looked okay! The walk from the mares towards marmaris was an hive of activity with the bars renovating and painting etc ready for the season! It was warmish some days and we could sit out abit but very cold at night! we got a good price on a late deal and got some money back because of the construction noise. We did have liz Hurley arrive with her bodyguards by helicopter and she and her son stayed in the penthouse suite for a couple of days!
