I've stayed there twice and always go back to say hello to the staff whenever I'm there. It's 2 minutes from the beach and Beach Road - the bungalows are lovely - people watching is a must. You are in Goa however - its not 4 * Accommodation but I would stay there again. It's cheap and cheerful!

Hi Tracy, i stayed there Feb 2-10th this year, it is basic but clean and the staff are very friendly and i think you will enjoy it, IF, you don't go there expecting 4 star.

We stayed at Silver Sands last April on our 1st visit to Goa,we are going back this year after booking a month after we got home last year for 3 weeks. Its a basic hotel but the staff are friendly,its very close to the beach and there's plenty of places to eat within 10mins walk but do go further afield as well.
You will love it!

You'll be fine at Silver Sands - it's just across the street from the Hindu Crematorium by the way.

We stayed there on our very first visit to Goa 10 years ago, it is basic, but we were very comfortable there.
Just think how lucky you are - you could have landed in Dona Alcina. (We need a puke smilie)
