Hi, we're off to Stalis in September and are thinking of going back to Kalamaki in Zante next June. We're going with friends next year and would probably need to keep in touch while out there so I've thought about getting a couple of Greek sim cards while I'm in Crete this year.
How much are they, where would I get them from and if I bought one in September this year would it still work next June for Zante? I would probably put a bit of credit on while in Crete but then the sim would be un-used from early Oct til June next year, would it still work or would it be considered inactive or anything like that? Also does it work out cheaper for texts back home to the UK?
Thanks
you can get sim card at any stand .... in additional the sim card is activate one year, from your last credit charge...
for instance if you buy a sim card at 1/1/2010 it will be activated until 1/1/2011 ....
i hope my help be useful , for more info send me a msg...
Alternatively, Just buy a phone card from any kiosk. They worked out much cheaper than my otenet sim card.
