If you go on to the Dubai Forum on trip advisor, there are lots of threads on Grosvenor House in Dubai and if you go back a few pages there is a trip report from someone called Molliedon. Overall, there is lots of first hand knowledge from people who have stayed at this hotel recently. It does get a good write-up too. only down side is that it is in the heart of the construction but everyone has said that it did not spoil their stay in any way. apparently, too, lots of people have been given complimentary upgrades, so I wold ask about getting one if I was you.
