hi all
my friend who is coming over soon, has asked me if there is anywhere in north goa, where they sell guinness i have to say i dont know i have never seen any even in molly malones if there is i am sure someone on h.t will know, perhaps our irish friends would know
Dragon07.. you can get the black stuff in Mollys but its very dear but he deffo sells it ...colleen
when i was there last he must have sold out ,i had irish stew as a change from hakkas.curries etc and kingfisher in a guinness glass, now is it british expensive or goa expensive, anyone have another place
As far as I know Dragon07 its more over there than you would pay in the UK the last night I was in molly's in march the lads were putting a load of 24 packs in behind the bar one thing my hubby always says is Guinness doe's not travel its just not the same over there
Spike.
I've often taken a dozen cans for myself. After a hot dusty day, sheer bliss to sit on balcony with ice cold Guinness.
Depends on how light you travel as to how much you can pack and of course you have to have the will power to ration yourself.

Great idea, will they not burst during flight if you have them in your cases.
Must admit that crossed my mind when i first did it, but never had a problem. Always made sure they were well wrapped in plastic bags just is case they got battered about.
At that price a little rich for me I am afraid even if I did drink Guinness. When in Goa and anywhere else for that matter I tend to stick to the local stuff.Drives me bonkers when my OH insists on drinking Budweiser wherever we are in the world.Filthy American junk that it is.Her decision of course but I am more than happy to bring back memories of sipping Kingfisher watching the sun go down on the beach.

Could be Spike.Strange though a day or two after arriving home and catching up with all the bills that have arrived while you were away, getting up to another grey wet day that beer on the beach seems all of a sudden a million miles away.Still counting the days down to my first one.
Do they still put glycerine in certain beers.
