Hi where are you flying from/ to as the Gulf Air service can be hit and miss ?????

Looking at Muscat, Oman. BA go via Abu Dhabi which adds 2 hours on.

I have just done Bahrain/Bangalore return in buisness class GAir and it is the worst out of the 3 main Gulf carriers, If I were you and the price is the same plumb for BA you can Duty Frree shop in Abu Dhabi

Thanks for your response. What made it the worst flight....was it the legroom....service? (Or everything lol!).

The thing with BA is that the stop in Abu Dhabi is apparently not one where you can get off the plane.....so it turns a 7.5 hour flight into a 9 hour one it seems.

Quality of service.8yrs ago Gulf Air were the Best in this area but (the Gulf) but not anymore.However give them a try on longer haul they could have improved.

I am flying in one of these aircraft to Oman with Gulf Air. I can reservie my seats for free, and was looking at the seats towards the back of the plane (rows 39 onwards, but not the last row). I seems it changes back here from a 2-4-2 confirguration to a 2-3-2, presumably because of the narrowing of the plane. However, I'm hoping that maybe despite the narrowing, only 7 seats across rather than 8, might mean a slightly more spacious feel...even if it is only an illusion! Anyone have any idea if these last few seats are a good choice? The seating plan shows there being a bigger aisle gap between the the 2 window seats and the 3 central seats.
