Hi did stay here a number of years ago don't recall the hotel you mention. The apartments are well spread out in the grounds and from memory were basic inside but roomy enough. I believe they had a refurb a few years ago now. We went in early October and it was awful, we were the last couples in the complex for 5 days! Stray cats and dogs were everywhere as it was end of season the staff weren't to bothered. There were 2 pools with bars right on the seafront, only a 10 minute walk up to bar street. Lots of steps up to the apartments so if anyone has walking difficulties it would be awkward/impossible. Things may very well have changed in the intervening period but at the time? big thumbs down!
Are you talking about the Gumbet Cove? The Gumbet Cove is next to the Asarlik Beach hotel. Its much smaller than the Asarlik, and is right across from the end of the road which takes you out of the centre of Gumbet towards Bitez. The Gumbet Cove aparts are set on level ground, theres not any steps (unless you're in a first floor apart).
They are only about a 10-minute walk to the centre of Gumbet (and the dolmus goes past the aparts too). Near the beach at the boatyard too, or come out onto the road and turn right, which takes you down to the main part of the beach (near the Mels hotel) in just a few minutes.

Yip those sound like the gumbet Cove apartments we were in, must confess it was a number of years ago. It is true that the ground floor aparts are reasonably accessible, think one of the reasons I myself was wondering if I had the correct apartments was that when we were leaving the staff told us it might be renamed. It might have just been the time of year, the lousy weather and our tour operator went bust! Altogether not a great holiday at all!LOL! Gumbet on reflection was at that time just too young at heart for us, too loud and too brash. Think I'm getting old!LOL! Sorry for any confusion but my leetle grey cells ain't what they used to be!
