I was just wondering if anyone can tell me what this resort is like for singles? I am a 20 year old going next month with a couple of friends, just wondering if it is a resort to be a bit careful in being female and single?

Its great for singles, if you take as much care with your personal safety there as you would at home.
Don't walk alone in unlit areas after dark, and if you really don't want to be bothered with blokes (especially Turkish ones) chatting you up all the way to your hotel when you're on your way home of a night, ignore them. (Even eye contact can raise some of them's hopes).
I had loads of girlie holidays in Gumbet, and loved every single minute of them. Had no problems with safety etc either.
