Gumbet wasent busy last week when we were their, Prices varied from place to place, Efes could be purchased for 2 lira for a Pint to 6 Lira in other places, Meals, Breakfast again varied from 5 lira to 8 lira, Evening meals again varied from 21 to 30 lira for a 5 course meal with a free Bottle of wine, weather was 37 degrees every day with sun all the time, In the evening it dropped to about 27 degrees with a slight cooling wind also, hope this helps.

What's the exchange rate over there at the moment? We go in 2 weeks, last year we got such a fantastic rate in the Uk we changed all our cash, it's about 2.42 here at the mo I think so not that great..we were getting up to 2.75 last year!!

If im right in the resorts of Marmaris and Icemeler areas its about 2.6 - 2.7TL. Im due to go away in 3 weeks and I have just this moment exchanged some money at 2.43TL to the GBP

Rate in Marmaris last week was 2.5 lira, In Icmeler the rate was 2.55 lira, Rate in Gumbet was 2.49 lira.
