Answered my own question, have found out that there is a gym in las gallatas called planet gym, not sure how good it is but will go & check it out when i get there in march & let you know.

thats if anyone is as sad as me & can contemplate getting sweaty in a gym when it's baking sunshine outside!!!!!!

Surprisingly there are quite a few Gym's out here. I'd imagine they all will have Air Conditioning. Not that i'd know - i run away from the places (keeps me fit)

My wife,son and I go to Gymnasio el Templo in Garanana, just outside Galletas. Well equipped, with all the usual classes. We pay 90€/monthly for the 3 of us. An individual would pay 34€ (inc classes/spinning etc).
