could somebody please confirm to me whether the h.top pineda palace hotel shuts after the october break. the head barman there says yes. if so then why is it possible to book a room there in november through holiday nights website!!!!!!!!!!!!!?[/u]

i would imagine this hotel would shut, but check with htop direct

holiday nights would probably just put you in another hotel in the group

surely they shouldnt be allowed to do that jim. if the hotels not open then it should not be advertised that it is. its not as if your booking a package holiday, you are booking a specific hotel.

H.Top Alexis - Lloret de mar

Hi everyone

has anyone got any information on the H.Top Hotel Alexis? Good or bad. I have seen some reviews some of them horrendous!

out on the 30th September with 3 girlfriends to celebrate a 40th birthday :shock:

(not mine I may add!) :lol:

for 3 nights for £150 each - which sounds reasonable?

Would appreciate some feedback. Also does anyone know what the weather is like Sept/Oct?

hi to you...karaokedido.

we stayed there in oct 2005
its on a par with the casino hotel h.top
horrible ,noisy,food very poor ,drinks watered down
but the weather was quite good at that time.
would not go again for free
this is my opinion of it .
but it was cheap and the rooms where clean.

Ahhh well - it's a girly, boozy weekend, just somewhere to sleep I suppose, take what we can get food and drink wise and if all else fails we'll eat somewhere else!
It would have cost us at least £100 in this country for 3 nights then we would have to find spending money for food and drink!

you and your friends go and enjoy yourselves you can allways use the other group hotels for meals e.t.c.

i would think you will still need money for drinks/going out as you have probably not got one of the better htop hotels,but they are normally very clean and the food is normally ok.
there is plenty to do in lloret and weather should be warm.

hi, just found a fab price for this hotel for next august but we have 2 boys age 8 and 4. is there anyone that has stayed there as a family can tell me what the rooms provide. ie 2 beds and 2 pull outs. cannot find info anywhere. thanks

just got back from a H top hotel, we didnt need to go out of our hotel to drink, we found the drinks really good too.

We stayed at Calella Palace, visited a few other H top hotels while we were there, they all seemed really nice.

i'm of to costa brava on monday on an AOA and will be staying at one of the HTOP hotels. the very nice mr ferris has always done me all right on my hotels when i've booked this way, but i pray that i am not allocated either the casino royale or the alexis, as i think this would ruin my holiday.
i am hoping that i get a hotel in calella or malgrat this time as last twice i've had royal beach in lloret, and i would like to see what the osiris is like now.
still i will post reviews on my return to work in 3 weeks.

Hotel planamar

Hi There i am going to HTop planamar in malgrat de mar on the 5th of october with my girlfreind.
Some of the reviews i have been reading sound awful and i do not have a clue what to do lol.
could any one give me any help please on what to do if it is not to my satisfaction when i get there.
ps what will the weather be like thanks :roll:
