Just got back from Mojacar 25th October. This is a very pleasant town, but please beware if you book into the hotels at the far end of the playa near to Garrucha. There is absolutely nothing in this area not even a cafe, bar or shop. This we would not have minded as we were looking for a peaceful break, if the hotel had been a 4 star as stated. The Oasis Tropical's food was reheated from dinner in the evening to lunch the next day. Waitress very rude to English in the Restaurant. Lounge bar area very basic with pool tables in the middle of the area. We were woken up most evenings with children running up and down the corridors and shouting outside and these were quite young children. I would consider returning to this area, but would be an apartment or villa.
