The regulations are listed on the first page of the Hand luggage thread. You can only take liquids and gels up to a maximum of 100ml each, and up to 10 containers. They must be contained in a clear plastic bag up to 1L capacity and be seperate from your hand luggage for inspection at security. You can't just take a bottle of shampoo and shower gel, but travel sized ones are fine if under 100ml each. Sharp impliments aren't permitted in aircraft cabins, but safety or disposable razors with blades enclosed in a cartridge are fine (full list of prohibited articled here).
