Hope i'm posting in the right forum!!
I'm off to Cyprus on Sunday and unsure about electrical items. Can I take my hairdryer and straightners in my hand luggage or do they have to go in my case? Also are digital camera's ok going through the x-ray checks? It won't wipe my memory card will it?

Digital Cameras are fine. Mine has been through xray lots of times and pics are ok.
Im interested in the straightners as well, I really don't want to put my ghd's in the hold (cost too much

I just don't wanna go over my luggage allowance and without the hairdryer and straightners, i can fit another pair of shoes!
