It's been a busy week so far.
We arrived Saturday and picked up the scooter - nearly got wiped out on the first day. A young idiot driver in a car overtook a group of scooters on the old Panjim Bridge, then had a head-on collision with a pick up truck right in front of us! Both drivers OK.
We spent New Year's Eve at Bono's shack - a couple of us prepared some suitable music, and Bono laid on some excellent food. Everyone had a great time - we crawled home at 3 am.
Tuesday night we ate at Kebabs & Curries - then went along to Mollie Malone's to see our friends Clodanne & Jimmy performing their gig there.
Wednesday we went up to Mapusa where I ordered a new pair of reading specs - titanium frames and coated lenses for 3,500 Rs.
On Thursday night we went to the quiz night in Deva bar, Candolim we nearly won - only 2 points less than the winners. Maybe next week?
It's been really hectic here, with all the young people from Mumbai making a noise and generally being a pain in the derriere. Hopefully things will calm down now - maybe get a chance to chill out!
