Hi Stephanie, We normally go the first 2 weeks in September every year.
To date we have not been bothered by these at any time, Sunny Beach or Golden Sands.
The weather is still lovely at this time also.

Went to Sunny Beach in August last year and didn't see any.

We were in SB in Sept last year and in July/Aug the year before and there was no sign of them and the weather was very good both years.

stayed in the victria palace last year first 2 weeks august and had no problems ,but the previous year in the sever/yug last week in july there were a few crashing about.maybe it was because we were nearer the sea last year and away from the trees and fields.not that the sever yug was to close to fields just a thought

The Sever/Yug does have a lot of trees about maybe that was the reason the Victoria Palace does not we stayed in the Fiesta Beach which has little trees about it too.

we stayed in the Pomorie last year and the Korona the year before both times in August and was sick to death of them especially when they landed on me never my hubby or son must of liked my perfume or something
