several years ago we went to altinkum ( our favorite resort) and remembering how they love to hassle i thought i would have a bit of a laugh i printed 200 buisness cards for a fake company in the uk, and everytime someone came towards me to sell their wares, resturant or bar i got in first by giving them a card and a load of spill about my ficticious company in the uk, asking them to buy our products. some did not get the joke and others had a laugh with us but it did have the desired affect we had 2 weeks of almost hastle free holiday and made some good friends in the process.

My tip is if you don't wish to be hassled stay away from the big resort areas in Turkey and look for the smaller more local villages to stay at.
