Just wondered what people did generally with Maldivian holidays - is it worth going AI or should we just go for half board?? What sort of things does this include?
Definatley go for the AI option
Drinks will skint you otherwise --- prices are around $5 for a beer, you might not think that is a lot but it all adds up over 14 days.
Myself & my partner don't drink a lot but totaling up the drinks throughout the day, at mealtimes and at night you can spend in excess of £500 - if you are a heavier drinker or like your spirits you could well go over the £1000 mark
Drinks on the AI vary from Island to Island - check 1st with their website or agents brochure as many will allow wine with meals but you will then have to pay if you wish a glass of wine at night --- We have been to SUN ISLAND 3 times and wine is FREE at all times.
