A pretty good hotel with some good bars nearby too.

Thanks for reply Millie...took a look at castilla reviews...dont think will suit...only kiddies entertainment...one of my probs is got wedding to go to a few weeks after his birhday in rhodes...so cash tight...but want to give him a surprise....so need a good AI for 5 to 7 days where he can enjoy himself and I dont have to worry about what its costing me...once holiday paid dont have to worry...dont want to have to go bars ect off hotel sight....but need good company and a bit of grown up entertainment to enjoy with his beer....this would be his ideal birthday.

Ive found hols with good food and beer but no entertainment at night...good AI's seem to cater more for young families.......my eyes are killin me from staring at my comp and I am about to give up....will probably land up some rubbish last minute holiday .

was told Lago Taurito in gran caneria really good.....but then told lights out at 11....no grown up entertainment but just a boring bar to drink in the evening....even found a great deal I could afford for 5 days at the taurito which also suits...but afraid to book now...as told only people with young children there....would have liked to take 14 yr old (the baby ) with us , could afford to do at price quoted...but told boring of a night for him as well

i dont think you have to have jabs for turkey we go up to 6 times a year and have been visiting for 27 years and ive never had jabs, my mother lives there and shes never had any either, i think its mainly for the none tourist places. there are some great all inclusives in olu deniz ie belcekiz beach, olu deniz resort, sun city and the fab lykia world and letoonia

well....its now or never...going to book the lago taurito in gran caneria....if still on offer....atleast I know he can sunbathe with a pint and eat well for 5 days there...and is a clean place...will be a chance to check it out for family hols next year too...was planning for cyprus as family wedding was supposes to be there ,but is not definate now.

well Ive bit the bullet and booked it...a week in july....for 4 of us...lago taurito...with thomas cook...was a bit more than when first saw it as messing around too nervy to book...most extra cause early morning flight instead of cheaper evening one that didnt have flight suppliment on it...now just need to pack with out hubby knowing....as going out to rhodes a few weeks after we come back for wedding he will think thats what Im doing....thanks for your suggestions...will help with family hols 2010
