Hello i am looking for a cheap flight this september to Dalaman, or even a package holiday if it is cheap enough.

I have been having a look and the cheapest i can find is just over 200pounds per person for a week flight only.

We can depart from most airports in the north west, Manchester, Blackpool, Liverpool, and we could even travel to Leeds or Newcastle.

We'd preferably want the date to be around mid Sep for a week, so around 12th Sep, but we are flexible. Any date between 5th Sep and the end of Sep, but would need to be home before 29th sep.

would i be better booking a few days before travelling? Im sure teletext holidays always have lots of late deals to Turkey in September.

http://www.goldtrail.co.uk have flights departing Manchester on 8th Sept and Liverpool on 17th Sept for £190 including 20kg luggage allowance.
You are pretty flexible with your dates so there's a good chance you might find a cheapish package available nearer the time but that's always a gamble. If you have a budget in mind, and can book now for that price, then personally I'd take it and then you know your holiday is booked.

thanks very much, i will certainly have a look at those sites nearer the time.

Am i right in thinking if i book online for a holiday that departs in a couple of days i will need to pick the tickets up from the airport?
I did this a few years ago and it all went smoothly.

You might get a cheap package deal with what is left of the tour operators direct sell arms ie

The first being TUI the later being TC.

I think you can use quidco or similar cashback site on these to get a further discount

You may be better off waiting to get a package late deal as they only cost a small amount more than the flight price and they will include transfers.

Hi, thanks for all your advice.

We are going to book our flights this month and book a hotel from lowcostbeds.

Are transfers from dalaman airport expensive? we are thinking of going to marmaris or another resort close by.

will this part of turkey still be quite busy in early sep?

I have found lowcost to be cheapest from edinburgh for july. Have you been to Dalyan before... toying between there and Ovacik??

Thanks for all your help. In the end we have opted for a flight from either thomson or thomascook. The cheapest we have found is 200pounds each for flight only, and we are booking the flights at the end of this month.
Theres also a good selection of accomodation on lowcostbeds, so we will be booking a hotel through them.

Good prices.. we have just paid around £265 for flights in July, which we are delighted with. we booked with travel republic and got a hotel with bb and evening meal, total price including flights from edinburgh for £340. Transfers from dalaman to Ovencik were £34 return for the two of us. V. happy
