Hi, have also posted this in other destinations but have had no luck. Can anyone give me any info on Salobrena, its in the Costa Tropical but there is no forum for it. Am going on 19 october and just want to know what sort of weather to expect and if its warm enough to swim.
Thanks in advance
Sally
I don't actually know Salobrena, only Almunecar, which is very near. I do know though that the area is very "Spanish" as opposed to many areas on the Costa del Sol, which are more cosmopolitan.
I have heard that it's a lovety area. The coastline along the Costa Tropical is beautiful as most of it is still unspoilt.
It's a wee bit of a trek, but I would recommend a visit to El Mirador, a restaurant at La Herradura (Cerro Gordo), the views are just fantastic and it is well worth the drive. The food is excellent too.
The weather at the moment is fantastic, very hot, but not too humid, yet. You will certainly be able to swim. Bring lots of suncream and have a wonderfull time.

So sorry, as soon as I posted I realised you were going in October! I tried to post again but my computer was playing up and wouldn't send the message. I'll try to answer your question in the "weather" post.
