Hi - depends really what standards you are looking for. Riu have a number of properties that would be good for you.
They have the Waikiki in PDI and the Vistamar in PR (altho more towards Amadores)
Other then that, the Barcelo Margaritas has always done well for me (travel agent
) in PDI
You're not blessed with an abundance of hotels in PR - they tend to be apartments with a few aparthotels thrown in.

As above, PR tends to be self catering, try gloria palace amadores, or vistamar as they are both close to the europa centre. meloneras has the best hotels and PDI can probably offer the most flexibility in standards and price, continental hotel gets loads of repeat guests, buenaventura is good waikiki loads to choose
