However, you could try this website menorca-the guide (you will need to google it). If you register you can post your query there. Its a website dedicated to all things Menorca and I am sure you will get the answer you require and much much more.
Hope that helps.

Trotting racing takes place just outside Mahon on the road to S'Algar/Binibeca - basically take the main road out of the capital towards S'Algar and you'll see a stadium on your right-hand side, you cannot miss it.
Racing takes place every Saturday, starting at around 6pm and to my knowledge it costs 5 euros to get in and is supposed to be real hoot (although I've heard they do not treat the horses very well though...)
I stayed at S'Algar the last week in September this year and there were a few people from my hotel who went along.
Hope that helps you out.
thanks cabinessence will get on to it as soon as i am there pam
thanks also to shjnmqn got lots of info off that site great help thanks pam
hi eastender am pretty sure trotting also takes place just outside cala n forcat on a sunday night i think.it`s a lot closer to you than s`algar which is on the other side of the island just ask rep when you get there to make sure.
hi norm, that sounds interesting ,its a lot nearer to cala blanca, will ask around when i get there, thanks pam
Yes they are definately on just by Ciutadella on a Sunday evening, so it's only 10 minutes drive from where you are staying.
not sure of the time, think it's about 6pm ish so if you ask locals they will know and will be able to direct you, reps may not be so willing to give you info on it as they like to take your money by booking you on to their trips and if the trotting races are not one of them i doubt they will give out too much info, but it may be worth asking just in case you are lucky enough to get a rep who's not just after your money!
Have fun and enjoy it!
