me and my boyfriend are looking to go to egypt, sharm el sheikh this year, around june.
Any ideas where would be best for us? we want to be able to access the nightlife, but would prefer to be close to a nice beach and have to taxi to the night life as we are after a relaxing holiday where we can do things like snorkelling, camel rides and things?
the lady in the travel agent said we would either be next to a nice beach, or next to the nightlife but not really both, so beach is our main priority aslong as we can get taxis to the night as we will want to go a few nights. we also want to go all inclusive, we have seen lots of hotels we think look lovely but just want to see where people reccomend!!

To be close to the nightlife you would need to stay within naama bay (the main town) . These would be mostly B+B/HB hotels with the exception of the sonesta beach club which is A/I. whilst I have only been there in the dark naama bay does have a beach that is perfectly reasonable I believe.
Outside you have a vast array of A/Is that are mostly within a 10-15 minute taxi/hotel courtesy bus ride . Nabq bay end (i.e coral sea resort, holiday village , grand Azure to name a few hotels) is a little further although there are some shops/resturants at that end but dont know if you would call it nightlife as such .
In previous years we have stayed at the hilton sharks bay which we love. The beach there is not brilliant although there are sunbathing terraces , a small sandy area and the most wonderful snorkelling. It gets good reviews and we find the A/I there of a good quality . The conrad has a fantastic beach if that is a priority .
All the hotels will offer similar excursions either sea or desert based which is really what sharm is all about . i.e snorkeling /diving or quad biking in the desert. Most importantly read the reviews ,there is a wide selection and a wide mix of reviews .
Next year we are giving the sonesta beach resort a go in naama bay .

For the best beach head to the Coral Sea Imperial (formerly known as the Conrad), you won't find a better one
