I agree with rwb46 about Icmeler, have a look at Babadan Apartments through Thomson, they also have their own website. Also have a look at Hisaronu, we stayed at St Nicholas Park Hotel. At Hisaronu you are spoilt for choice for places to go, as you've got Olu Deniz one way and Fethiye the other for days out. The weekly markets at both Icmeler and Fethiye are superb, with plenty of bargains to be had.

October school holidays are last week of october so a lot of places will be closing down, best bet would be one of the busier places. Is Icmeler busy the last week of season?

Kedi, School holidays differ between each Uk country, October hasent been busy the last 4 years in Turkey anywhere, So it really doesent make a difference as where ever this person goes it will be quiet, oakvilla501324 dont worry about this as thats when you will get all the bargains particularly in the last week of season, As traders dont like to hold on to the stock, They will sell it for near cost price to them, Some places do close as it's not busy but you will still have many places to go to eat in.

I would recommend Didim in Altinkum as I have just came back from 2 wonderful wks I really had a fantastic time theres lots of things to go and see also the lovely boat trips .

thanks for all the advice. after much surfing we have opted for the st nicholas hotel in hisaronu. i only hope it will not be too chilly in the mountains at that time of year.
