My partner and I are struggling to choose where to go this year and need some recommendations please.
We like the odd wild night on the booze but like relaxed nights too. A place with things to see and with bit of entertainment is good also a nice sandy beach. We have been to Salou, Santa ponsa and benalmadena and found these places really good. Any suggestions would be gratefully received.

I think you might like Albufeira. For wild nights out there's the Strip, but the Old Town is great for the more relaxed evenings. There are lots of bars and restaurants there, some with sea views, and two good beaches. In fact if you like sandy beaches you will love the Algarve, as there are beautiful beaches all along the coast. There's street entertainment in the main square in the high season, and lots of other things to do like boat trips, water parks, zebra safaris etc. Check out this thread for more info and photos.
All the budget airlines fly to Faro, which is about 35 minutes' drive from Albufeira. There is a wide choice of hotels, but check the location carefully as some are up to a mile from the beaches - and Albufeira is quite hilly.
Wherever you choose, have a great time!
